BizWeb
I designed banners for BizWeb, an internal news site with the goal of motivating, informing and educating Sales people worldwide. As the only designer, I was responsible for creating banners for stories, announcements and resources. The challenge was that I was reacting at the speed of business. To solve this, I automated and improved the design process, by creating smart templates, guidelines, and a design system to speed through asset creation and deliver on time.

Sketch Template
I used the Sketch app to design a template that creates all image renditions for Mac, iPad and iPhone views, with one single image. In addition, I built mockups to get a preview of how the art will look on the website and newsletter.
The image below only shows a simple story banner template, but the side bar shows all other templates needed for the entire website, like partner pages, resources, and enablement pages.
Guidelines
Below is a keynote document outlining what BizWeb is, guidelines on stories, how to use templates, information about tools, processes and some tips and tricks to successfully output designs on BizWeb.
In addition, I developed a 10-minute banner design guide that helped new designers quickly ramp up and start creating artwork for BizWeb.
